Tai Chi Chuan is an internal form of Kung-Fu, However, the focus of Tai Chi is not martial art, but rather as a meditative exercise for the body.
Tai Chi is a form of exercise, it can best be described as a moving form of yoga and meditation combines. There are a number of forms, which consist of a sequence of movements. Many of the moves orginate from the martial arts yet the way they are performed in Tai Chi is slow, soft and graceful with smooth transitions between them. Constant practice of Tai Chi will promote healthy living and longevity.
Medical research has shown Tai Chi can reduce high blood pressure, improves circulation, and improves metabolism. It also balances the internal energy known as Qi ( Ying-Yang) and the nerve system which will make a person looking 5 to 10 years younger.
